Solid spot for happy hour! Came here with coworkers and ordered a ton of food and drinks. Service was good but thought the food was just ok for the price. The nachos were good, but the cheese wasn't completely melted and the tacos were pretty dry. Glad they were happy hour priced at least. Drinks were solid though for the price and were not too strong compared to other places. Overall I would recommend giving this place a try for their happy hour, it's pretty busy but service was pretty consistent and attentive. There is a parking lot across from the restaurant and there is street parking all over.

For what it's worth this the best Mexican sit down restaurant I have experienced in the bay. The service was great, they got sangria pitchers which was also great. Look at my burrito, picture perfect. I see myself returning to this place real soon

Food and service is always great! Love their mojitos. I like their birria, fried yuca, fish tacos, steak quesadilla. Ambiance is great. Come here alone or with a group and you'll have a good time!

Ok, so I was skeptical when I saw the overall rating of Milagros but, holy cow this place is awesome. No it's not the most authentic, but it's still delicious! The fajitas were great; shrimp was cooked beautifully and seasoned to perfection! The salads was also pretty good and worth the $3 charge to try. I do wish the portion size of salsa was bigger but you get 3 different kinds and luckily we loved all 3. Ambiance is great on the patio (especially on a nice day!) I will say the drinks were strong which for most people isn't a bad thing, but something to note incase you're not looking for a strong drink. Overall service was great, the food was good and the vibes were on point! We will for sure be back!

Milagros has like so many other places been on our radar for some time. We are huge fans of its sister restaurant, Town, and wanted to see if this was Town, with a South of the Border twist. It would have been a 5 stars easy but for an errant app. Service was friendly and on point. The restaurant was not crowded but it was just a bit before noon. Parking was okay but its a downtown location so give yourself a bit of time to find a spot. The food: Salsa Trio: All the salsas were good, but the the charred pineapple one really stood out. The smokey char was a perfect counter to the sweetness. The chips were hot and just the right amount of salt on them. Taquitos De Pollo: These were pretty good. Perfectly crunchy, with decent amount of chicken in the filling. The guac and crema added a perfect accompaniment and the cabbage added crunch Mahi Mahi Cerviche: This one was quite good. The mahi tasted fresh, and it was cured for the right amount of time. The serranos added a nice heat, and jicama added a nice crunch. This was a well executed dish Poke: Yeah I know poke at a Mexican restaurant. It was meh. The mango chunks really were out of place. The texture kind of round it for us. Carnitas. The pork was moist and had great flavor. As did the rice and the beans. Both were perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Quesabirra Trio: The tacos were perfect. Just the right amount of cheese, onions etc. The charred Jalapeno added heat and smokiness. The consume was good, but needed a bit more punch Overall it was a 4.5 because of the app so i rounded up to 5 because the service was great and they served my beer in a pre chilled glass. We will be back

Was in town looking for a place to hang and came across this spot in Middlefield Rd by downtown Redwood City. I was intrigued by how many people were there and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves so decided to try them out. there was plenty of public pay parking in the area so parking wasn't bad at all. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The host was friendly and accommodating and we didn't wait long to be seated indoor semi outdoor. It's nicely decorated giving you the vibe of actually being in Mexico. It is clean and the server greeted warmly and explained the menu perfectly. Elected to order a couple of cocktails and some appetizers. Didn't wait to be served and I was excited to try.., the drinks were surprisingly good and the food was very tasty delicious. The vibe was chill and so much fun! Will not hesitate to return for more!

My first time here and the food is pretty good! Service was a bit slow and we went during lunch time. Highly suggest ordering chips and salsa for the table to share as the tortilla chips were hot and fresh! I got a mock tail drink called "I left it at home" and it was very sour but I expected it from the lime juice! The star of the lunch was the enchilada suiza which was chicken enchilada. I got it with red rice and refried beans and it was delicious!

As someone who grew up in the Bay Area, I'm actually angry that I didn't know about Milagros sooner. I ended up here while attending a work conference and was expecting mediocre Mexican food but somehow found a GEM. I came here around 7p with a coworker and it was pretty packed. We went to the bar to grab a few drinks while we waited for a table and while we were told it would take 20-30 min, it only took 10! We tried a few items including the salsa trio, guac, cheese enchilladas, and the artichoke enchilladas. Let's start off with drinks which were AMAZING! I don't remember the exact name of my drink but it was very similar to one of the mocktails except it contained alcohol. Every single salsa we tried was sooo good. They had a small amount of heat to them but nothing crazy and it worked really well in the mango salsa. We opted for the spicy guac which wasn't all that spicy but delicious nontheless. However, the main star of the show were the enchilladas. Now let me start by saying that enchilladas are my JAM. Like, I will always order them when I see them which is why this was no exception. I got one of their verdes enchilladas without the protien and MY GOD. WHY WAS IT SO GOOD?? Why do the best enchilladas in the Bay Area exist in a random Mexican place in Redwood City?? Also, ,the service was wonderful and everyone was super attentive and kind. I will be coming back the next time I'm in town!

4.5 stars. Been going to Milagros in Redwood City for years now. This place is probably one of the coolest spots in the city. Venue: 4.75 stars. LOVE the decor here. The rustic, but industrial building is ornamented with imported Latin American antiquities, art pieces and furniture, creating a uniquely vivacious ambiance. Good news - they have a good-sized patio for dining al fresco, surrounded by their succulent plants. Bad news - they don't have a private lot (Though, there are metered spots along the block as well as a public lot across the street). The venue is always well-kept and clean. Food: 4 stars. Below are a few items that we have ordered: PINA COLADA - I didn't know that they offer the blended version of this alcoholic beverage. It's still enjoyable without the slushed ice, but I will request the slushy one next time. EL JEFE - Auntie Sol and Mom enjoyed this COCKTAIL. coconut slushie - DELICIOUS & VEGAN! An excellent non-alcoholic beverage. Unfortunately, it seems to have dropped off of the menu. TORTILLA SOUP - The tomato broth is served in a metal pitcher, so that you can pour over the chicken, avocado, tortilla chips, cheese and pico de gallo. This is a nice STARTER, but can be slightly salty. SIZZLING SKILLET FAJITAS (Combination Fajitas) - A good choice, especially if you get a surf & turf combo of Flank Steak & White Gulf Shrimp. BAJA MAHI MAHI TACO - NOT GOOD! We had to return these because the fish did not taste fresh, they were very fishy. ENCHILADAS SUIZAS - YUM! This creamy dish might appear like a small serving, but it's hearty and filling. CARNITAS NORTENAS - Dad loved this slow-roasted pork dish. WARM CHOCOLATE CAKE - A personal size of this moist cake was served on the house, topped with a lit candle, to birthday girl, Auntie Sol. The sweet ending to her meal made her smile. Service: 5 stars. Milagros' staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Customer service is clearly top priority here. If I lived closer, I would be a regular at Milagros.
